#ad When I was approached by McDonald’s to work on a campaign promoting their summer slushies, I was instantly excited. Perfect timing for the heat wave - I get to work, stay cool, feel refreshed, and enjoy a road trip along the delta capturing beautiful imagery. I’m going to be pretty stoked this summer showing ya’ll some of the delightful flavors alongside the beautiful scenery of Sacramento. I started my McDonald’s journey, where I ordered a couple Minute Maid Strawberry Watermelon Slushies before making my way to the Tower Bridge, with a short jaunt to Old Sac, then I continued my road trip down the river along 160, checking out the wakeboarders, jumping fish, maybe even a sea lion poking its head out of the water! From Freeport to Clarksburg, down to Locke and Walnut Grove, then Rio Vista, and back to Sacramento on the opposite side of the delta. I’ve always liked this drive, and making it happen with the windows down and occasional stops to enjoy the views and pick up a few more slushies took this road trip to a whole new level for me.
